HAYS, Kan. — City water crews have resolved a system issue that disrupted service pressure on the north side of Hays Friday, with normal operations expected to resume within hours. While water service was maintained throughout the incident, residents experienced pressure fluctuations as crews worked to secure the infrastructure and restore full system capacity.
Water Resources Director Jeff Crispin said teams successfully identified and addressed the cause of the pressure drop, though he warned residents to remain vigilant during the current extreme cold snap.
