Haven hosts annual Christmas event Saturday

HAVEN, Kan. — The Haven Chamber of Commerce will present its annual Christmas Haven event Saturday, Dec. 6, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at the Haven Fire Station.

The event will feature activities for children, including letters to Santa, kids crafts, caroling, roasted marshmallows and hayrides. Santa Claus will arrive via fire truck, with the passport event running from 4:30 to 6:15 p.m. and drawings at 6:30 p.m.

A letters to Santa mailbox, sponsored by Chandly's Repair Services, will be available at the Haven Police Station from Dec. 6-21.

Business locations will be listed on participants' passports. Additional locations are available at the Haven Fire Station.

The event is sponsored by Haven Recreation, with candy provided by Mason-Hallock and Ike's Food & Merchandise.
