Girls Soccer: Bulldogs Rout Circle 4-1
McPherson varsity girls soccer scored four goals, including two in each half.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson varsity girls soccer team defeated Circle 4-1 Tuesday at McPherson High School, scoring twice in each half. Grace Prescott opened the scoring, followed by Allison Randa on an assist from Prescott; in the second half, Circle put the ball into its own net off a Brodie Kuhn assist before Addison Shaft capped the scoring on a Lleyton Kuhn assist. Goalkeeper Ellie Herrera made 11 saves on the night, while the Bulldogs put seven shots on goal; the JV squad fell 2-1, with Savannah Dossett accounting for McPherson's lone goal.
