Representative Ron Estes reflects on Wichita's legacy as the "Air Capital of the World" since 1928, established by aviation pioneers like Clyde Cessna, Olive Ann Beech, and Lloyd Stearman.

1. WSU Tech Expansion: Estes attended a groundbreaking ceremony for WSU Tech's expansion of the National Center for Aviation Training (NCAT), which will provide new educational opportunities for Kansas students and is expected to bring innovation and jobs to the region.
2. National Aviation Day: He commemorated National Aviation Day on August 19th, recognizing Kansas workers who manufacture and design aircraft as contributors to America's global aviation leadership.

Estes expressed his honor in representing the Air Capital of the World in Congress and serving as Co-Chair of the House Aerospace Caucus.
