HAVEN, Kan. — A structure fire in the 100 block of South Topeka left a second-story bathroom damaged Saturday night, Jan. 31, with no injuries reported.

Reno County Fire District #1 responded to the call at 8:34 p.m. Friday with crews from stations 91, 81, 82, 10 and 50. Firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the home's eaves and located the blaze in a second-story bathroom.

Crews contained the fire to the bathroom, though smoke and heat damaged other second-floor rooms. All occupants safely evacuated before firefighters arrived.

Haven EMS provided rehabilitation services to firefighters at the scene. Haven Police Department, the City of Haven and the American Red Cross also assisted.
