Downtown Manhattan to host All Treats Day Halloween celebration

MANHATTAN, Kan. — Downtown Manhattan will host All Treats Day on Friday, Oct. 31, from 4-6 p.m. along Poyntz Avenue, inviting families to participate in a safe trick-or-treat experience in the heart of the community.

The Halloween event encourages families to stroll down Poyntz Avenue, where children can safely trick-or-treat at participating neighborhood businesses. Organizers invite participants to come in costume and enjoy a fun, family-friendly Halloween experience in downtown Manhattan.

The event runs for two hours and is organized by Downtown Manhattan Inc., which promotes the area as a destination for shopping, dining, entertainment and business services.

Families attending the event will also have the opportunity to enjoy the annual Boo Party at Manhattan Town Center from 4-6 p.m. the same day, providing additional Halloween activities for children and families.

The All Treats Day event is part of Downtown Manhattan's ongoing community programming designed to bring families and neighbors together for seasonal celebrations. The organization regularly hosts events throughout the year in the downtown area.

Located at 409 Poyntz Ave., downtown Manhattan serves as the city's central business and entertainment district. The Halloween celebration allows local businesses to participate in the community tradition while providing a controlled environment for families with young children.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information about All Treats Day or other downtown Manhattan events, visit Downtown Manhattan Inc.'s social media pages or contact the organization directly.
