Cooper leads Boys Varsity Golf to 2nd-place finish
Cole Cooper shot a 2-under 70 to win individually by four strokes.
WINFIELD, Kan. — The McPherson boys varsity golf team finished second at the Quail Ridge Invitational on Tuesday, carding a team score of 327, five strokes behind champion Winfield. Cole Cooper led the Bullpups with a 2-under-par 70 to claim individual medalist honors by four shots, while Hunter Vogelsberg finished ninth with an 82, Jaxon Hoover placed 26th with an 89 and Hudson Krehbiel was 32nd with a 91.
