City of Hutchinson hosts City Wide Cleanup April 25-26

The City of Hutchinson will place dumpsters at 15 locations throughout the community free of charge to residents on April 25-26, a Saturday and Sunday, as part of its annual City Wide Cleanup event.
Dumpsters will be stationed at the following intersections and locations: Kisiwa Parkway and Walnut Street, 15th Avenue and Van Buren, Sherman and Madison Street, 1st Avenue and Plum, Bigger and Walnut, Avenue F and Chestnut, Avenue B and Reformatory, Avenue A and Van Buren, 1800 Block of Carey Boulevard, 1st Avenue and Grandview, 4th Avenue and Fontron, East Sports Arena Parking Lot, Fairground Water Park on Severance, and 30th Terrace west of Garden Grove Parkway.

Residents are reminded that certain items are not permitted in the dumpsters, including mattresses, tires, tree limbs, leaves, grass clippings, household hazardous waste and large metal items such as appliances, bicycles and lawn mowers.
Items not accepted in the dumpsters may be taken to the Reno County Landfill, located at 703 S. Mohawk Road. The landfill is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
