Christian comedian Tim Hawkins to perform at Fox Theatre

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Popular Christian comedian and musician Tim Hawkins will bring his family-friendly comedy show to the Fox Theatre, with tickets going on sale Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Hawkins, known for viral comedy songs including "Yoga Pants" and "A Homeschool Family," has built a following through his observational humor about marriage, parenting and everyday family life. His YouTube videos have garnered hundreds of millions of views over his career.

The 56-year-old performer from Missouri tours extensively, performing more than 100 live concerts annually across the United States. His comedy focuses on relatable topics like homeschooling, marriage dynamics and the challenges of modern parenting.

The show is scheduled for 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. VIP ticket holders will have early entry at 5:15 p.m. for a meet-and-greet opportunity with Hawkins, though participants must arrive by 5 p.m. or forfeit the experience.

Tickets range from $27.40 to $81.50 when purchased at the Fox Box Office at 18 East 1st Avenue or by calling 877-FOX-SHOW. Online tickets cost $32.90 to $87, including a $5.50 convenience fee.

Hawkins began his comedy career in 1991 after co-workers at an Olive Garden restaurant encouraged him to try an open mic night at a St. Louis comedy club. After working various jobs including substitute teaching and customer service, he transitioned to full-time comedy in the early 2000s.

The comedian has released multiple comedy albums and DVDs, including "Full Range of Motion," "Insanitized" and "That's the Worst." He currently hosts "The Tim Hawkins Podcast" with his wife Heather and family members.

Hawkins married Heather in 1993, and the couple has four children. Much of his comedy material draws from his experiences as a husband and father in a homeschooling family.

The Fox Theatre performance is presented by Awakening Events. VIP packages include premium reserved seating, early entry and the meet-and-greet photo opportunity with the comedian.
