Celtics fall to Sterling in volleyball doubleheader

The Trinity Catholic High School Celtics (0-8-1) traveled to face the Sterling Black Bears (3-5) in a volleyball doubleheader at Sterling High School on Tuesday.
The Black Bears won both matches. In the first match, Sterling defeated Trinity 25-20, 25-20. In the second match, they secured another victory 25-13, 26-24.
During the first match, the Celtics performed well early, trading points and leads with the Black Bears. However, in both sets, Sterling reached the crucial "red zone" first and closed out with convincing serving runs.

The Hutchinson Trinity Catholic Celtics were defeated by the Sterling Black Bears 2-0 and 2-0 on Sept. 16, 2025.
