Bullpups Sweep Winfield, Eldorado in Dominant Night
McPherson improves to 6-3 after back-to-back straight-set wins Tuesday.
WINFIELD, Kan. — The McPherson varsity girls volleyball team swept both Winfield (25-12, 25-13) and Eldorado (25-18, 25-14) on Tuesday to improve to 6-3 on the season. Harper Rierson led the Bullpups with 13 kills and five aces, while Rylie Whitfield added 11 kills, three aces and 32 assists, posting a .786 hitting efficiency on the night. As a team, McPherson hit above .300 for the first time this season, with Karlie Cooper, Piper Solofra, Kennedy Bonham and Rierson all recording season-high hitting efficiency numbers.
