Bullpups Sweep Two Opponents Behind Dominant Net Play

McPHERSON, Kan. – The McPherson Bullpups varsity volleyball team continued their strong season with convincing straight-set victories over two opponents. The Bullpups first dominated Winfield 25-10, 25-16 before following up with another impressive performance against Clearwater, winning 25-18, 25-13. The two victories showcased McPherson's balanced offensive attack and solid defensive play throughout both matches.

Leading the offensive charge was Brooke Doile, who recorded 17 kills while also anchoring the defense with 21 digs and 2 blocks. Ava Romero provided excellent all-around play with 16 kills, 12 digs, and a team-high 5 aces, while Elley Paulsen contributed 13 kills to the attack. Rylie Whitfield orchestrated the offense with 45 assists across both matches, setting up her teammates for consistent scoring opportunities.

The defensive effort was equally impressive, with Carmin Pavlovich adding 10 digs to complement the strong back-row play from Doile and Romero. Adelyn Barrow chipped in with 2 aces as the Bullpups controlled both matches from start to finish. The sweep of two quality opponents demonstrates McPherson's depth and consistency as they continue to build momentum through their schedule.
