Bullpups Girls Swim Takes 2nd at Emporia Meet
Adyson Wiens earns state qualifying time, McPherson finishes second with 402 points.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson High School varsity girls swimming team finished second with 402 points at the Emporia meet, trailing only Hutchinson High School's winning score of 435. Adyson Wiens headlined the Bullpups with two individual event victories — taking first in the 100 butterfly (1:03.95) and first in the 100 breaststroke (1:18.90) — with her butterfly time earning a state qualifying mark.
Brinnley Robinson won the 200 freestyle (2:31.18), and McPherson's relay teams added multiple top-three finishes across the 200 medley, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relays.
