Bullpups Fall 0-4 to Andover in Varsity Boys Soccer
McPherson outshot Andover but couldn't convert in a tough loss.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson Bullpups varsity boys soccer team dropped a 0-4 decision to Andover, despite finishing with more shots on goal, with goalkeeper Hunter Schroeder making five saves on the night. "There were long stretches where the boys played some of their best soccer of the season," head coach Chris Adrian said, noting the team looked more organized defensively than in its previous match. Adrian credited several players for stepping up offensively but acknowledged that Andover's ability to generate high-percentage opportunities, including breakaways, proved to be the difference.
