Bullpups Boys Varsity Golf Takes 2nd at Salina
McPherson finishes runner-up with a 326 in 13-team field.
SALINA, Kan. — The McPherson Bullpups boys varsity golf team finished second out of 13 teams at Salina Municipal Golf Course, posting a 326 to trail Hays’ winning score of 319. Junior Cole Cooper led the Bullpups with a 78, good for fourth place, while freshman Brandon Ek shot an 80 for 11th, senior Paxton Ingels carded an 81 for 13th, freshman Hunter Vogelsberg shot an 83 for 16th, and junior Hudson Krehbiel and sophomore Drake Timpson each posted 84s to tie for 20th.
