Hunter Schroeder's PK save preserves shutout in milestone win for coach Chris Adrian.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson varsity boys soccer team defeated Salina South 2-0 Tuesday, with goalkeeper Hunter Schroeder making eight saves — including a critical penalty kick stop — to preserve the clean sheet. Jackson Martin netted the opening goal seven minutes in, and a Jameson Bowers cross deflected into the Salina South net for the insurance tally in the second half. The victory marked the 200th career win for Bullpups head coach Chris Adrian, who said after the match, "It was a great night of soccer, and one that showed a lot of character from this team."
