Bullpups Boys Soccer Blanks El Dorado, 8-0

MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson Bullpups varsity boys soccer team routed El Dorado 8-0 Tuesday, building a 4-0 lead in the first nine minutes behind a hat trick from Yahir Valadez and two goals each from Grayson Broadus and Jackson Martin, with Parker Riemann adding the eighth goal as the Bullpups finished with 15 shots on goal and goalkeeper Hunter Schroeder was untested. The JV squad matched the varsity's 8-0 result, with Trey Fiedler and Quade Broadus each netting two goals. "It was mission accomplished for both the varsity and JV teams today, as both came away with 8-0 wins and only had to play the first half of their games," coach Chris Adrian said, adding that the Bullpups will return home Thursday to face Salina South.
