Bullpups Baseball Tryouts Set for July 19th at Grant Baseball Complex
McPherson Baseball Association Opens Registration for 2026 Youth Season
The McPherson Baseball Association (M.B.A.) has announced that tryouts for the 2026 season will take place Saturday, July 19th, 2025, at Grant Baseball Complex, located at 1800 N. Main in McPherson. Young Bullpups ages 8U through 14U will have the opportunity to showcase their skills during 90-minute tryout sessions scheduled throughout the day, with the youngest players starting at 8 a.m. and older divisions continuing through 4 p.m. The association aims to develop local youth talent and prepare players to eventually compete at the high school and collegiate levels.
Parents are encouraged to pre-register their children at www.mackidsbaseball.com to expedite the check-in process on tryout day, though walk-up registration will also be available. Each team will consist of 10 to 12 players, with final rosters to be posted on the association's website by Sunday, August 3rd. The player fee for the season is $250, which covers tournament and league costs, with families able to prorate fees for multiple children. Uniforms, which cost approximately $100, will be fitted in September and are separate from the player fee.
