McPherson placed fourth out of 16 schools at its own tournament.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson varsity girls golf team finished fourth out of 16 schools as 83 players competed at the McPherson Invitational on Thursday. Sophomore Lleyton Kuhn led the Bullpups with an 84, good for 15th place, while seniors Pera Bauer (87, T-16th) and Amelia Moody (89, T-20th) followed closely behind. "We have made big improvements from two weeks ago," head coach Treg Fawl said. "We will keep working hard and getting better." Senior Ari Prose set a personal record with a 96 (T-34th), and freshmen Abby Schieferecke, Monroe Schmidt and Alexa Milleson all recorded personal bests as well.
