Boys varsity tennis finishes 4th at Maize invite
McPherson placed fourth among eight programs spanning multiple classifications.
MAIZE, Kan. — The McPherson boys varsity tennis team finished fourth out of eight programs at a Maize High School invitational Saturday, compiling 15 points behind tournament winner Bishop Carroll's 30. Cooper Bohme at No. 1 singles and the No. 2 doubles tandem of Mason Eisenbarth and Hayden Siemens each earned third-place finishes, while the No. 1 doubles pair of Jonas Emery and Rylan Unruh placed fourth after an 8-7 (7-4) loss to Maize, which recently won the Doug Gayer Classic. The Scots return to action Saturday at Valley Center.
