Boys JV Tennis Wraps Up Invitational Season
Parker Riemann takes second place to lead McPherson at Buhler.
BUHLER, Kan. — McPherson's boys JV tennis team closed out its invitational season Friday at Buhler, with Parker Riemann earning second place at No. 1 singles after winning a 6-5 pool play match before falling to Valley Center 5-6 in the championship.
Seth Turner finished fourth at No. 2 singles, the doubles pair of Holtyn Hamblin and Jacob Achilles placed fourth, and freshmen Derek Stucky and Logan Allen took seventh at No. 2 doubles. The Bullpups shift focus to varsity league Monday before regionals Friday.
