Boys & Girls Clubs of Hutchinson to debut ninja warrior course at ribbon cutting

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hutchinson will unveil a new ninja warrior-style playground Tuesday, October 7, with a ribbon cutting ceremony and family night at Shadduck Park.
The event runs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the park, located at 600 W. Second St.
Adam Rayl, a two-time world champion and NBC "American Ninja Warrior" competitor, will provide a live demonstration and motivational talk during the ceremony. Youth attendees will have opportunities to walk through the course and take photos.
The official ribbon cutting begins at 4:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided for all attendees.
Following the ceremony, Lance Patterson, a USD 308 school board member and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs, will lead a question-and-answer session about the district's upcoming bond issue.
The playground project was funded through contributions from Blue Team sponsors and individual donors to the 2024 Playground Project.
