Blue Dragons Fall to Barton in Conference Volleyball Opener

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Community College volleyball team dropped its conference opener to Barton Tuesday night, falling in four sets with scores of 18-25, 25-27, 20-25, and 0-3.
The Blue Dragons showed resilience in the second set, pushing Barton to extra points before falling 27-25, but were unable to maintain that momentum throughout the match.
The loss marks the beginning of conference play for Hutchinson, which will look to bounce back quickly as they prepare for their next opponent.
The Blue Dragons will travel to face Pratt Community College on Monday in their next conference matchup. The game is part of the team's conference schedule as they work to establish themselves in league play.
