Form the desk of Sen. Roger Marshall

A Doctor's Note, August 18, 2025

Fellow Kansan,

My 100-stop tour of Kansas continued this week, and my travels took me to Topeka, Wichita, Maize, Lansing, Atchison, and Leavenworth.

During these stops, I had great conversations with local business owners and community leaders, and participated in a Meals on Wheels route. I also had a tour of the Leavenworth VA Medical Center, the Council Grove bicentennial celebration, speaking with state officials from The Kansas Human Trafficking Board, and met with the owner of Topeka mainstay The Barber Shop, and so much more.

Pictures and details from the other visits this week are below in the newsletter.

I will be headed to Southwest Kansas next week on the next leg of my 100-stop tour.

Please know that my family and I take this responsibility seriously and are proud to represent all Kansans in the U.S. Senate.

Senator Marshall: America is the Land of Law and Order
Law and order was the media theme of the week, as I spoke with Fox Business’s The Bottom Line and The Evening Edit about the lawlessness in our Nation’s Capital and support for President Trump’s federal takeover of Washington, D.C., and President Trump’s promise to go after the drug cartels. We also discussed the necessity of a Congressional stock trading ban – something the absence of has allowed too many politicians in Washington to take advantage of.
