7th Grade Girls Volleyball Bullpups Go 2-0 at Triangular
McPherson's A and B teams each went undefeated Tuesday in home triangular play.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson seventh-grade girls volleyball teams each went 2-0 Tuesday, with the A team defeating Haysville West 22-25, 25-22, 15-10 and Circle 25-13, 25-10, and the B team topping Haysville West 25-19, 25-17 and Circle 25-23, 25-22 to improve both squads to 3-0 on the season. "I thought the girls played well against Circle," B team coach Lauren Labertew said. "They hustled, communicated better, and were more focused. They had to battle back after a few mistakes but they stayed positive and did well serving." The Bullpups travel to Hays Middle School on Thursday for a triangular against Hays and Great Bend.
