MCPHERSON, Kan. — When the Hutchinson YMCA joined the Greater Wichita YMCA in late 2021, it had about 2,000 members. Today it has more than 11,000. David Foster, who led that turnaround, now oversees the McPherson Y — and he believes the same trajectory is possible here.
