Winfield Pharmacist Honored with Chamber Champion Award

WINFIELD — Dared Price, owner of Graves Drug in Winfield, was recognized with a Chamber Champion award at the November board of directors meeting of the Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

Price was named Pharmacist of the Year by the Kansas Pharmacists Association for his advocacy work on reforming the pharmacy benefit manager system. The state recognition highlights his efforts to address challenges facing independent pharmacies across Kansas.

"Being named Pharmacist of the Year is an incredible honor, and we are proud of the work Dared has done on behalf of the pharmacy industry," the chamber stated in announcing the award.

Price and his wife, Renee Price, own Graves Drug, a local pharmacy serving the Winfield community.

The Chamber Champion award recognizes business leaders who demonstrate outstanding service and leadership in the community.
