Winfield Municipal Band to Present Holiday Concert

WINFIELD — The Winfield Municipal Band will perform its annual Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Winfield Public Library, 605 College St.

The free concert will feature holiday music, and the band will collect food items for the Winfield Area Food Pantry during the event.

Attendees are encouraged to bring donations for the pantry. Suggested items include canned goods such as green beans, corn, pork and beans, canned fruit, pasta sauce, peanut butter, cereal, saltine crackers, canned tomatoes, spaghetti or other pasta, tuna, jelly and boxed macaroni and cheese. Paper products including toilet paper, tissues, paper towels and hand soap are also appreciated.

A reception will follow the concert.

Admission is free and open to the public.
