Winfield Farm Receives State Tourism Grant for Expansion Projects

WINFIELD, Kan. — The Farm at Quail Valley has been selected to receive an Attraction Development Grant from Kansas Tourism, according to a post shared by the Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

The grant will fund several additions to the property, including a greenhouse, a shower and bath house, and a Hobbit Home lodging experience, according to The Farm at Quail Valley.

Owners said the projects are intended to grow the farm into a destination where people can gather, celebrate and experience the Flint Hills region.

The Farm at Quail Valley offers agritourism experiences in the Winfield area. Officials did not disclose the dollar amount of the grant in the announcement.
