Winfield Electric Department, Cowley County Fair Board take top honors at Main Street Lighted Christmas Parade

WINFIELD — The Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce announced winners of this year's Main Street Lighted Christmas Parade.

The City of Winfield Electric Department took first place in the Best in Show category.

In the Decorated Vehicle category, the Cowley County Fair Board placed first, followed by Mumford Rental in second place and Winfield Fire/EMS74/Medic 75 in third place.

Holy Name Catholic Church & School won first place in the Float category. Harvest Christian Church took second place, while CDS Machine & Powder Coating finished third.

The Winfield High School Marching Band claimed first place in the Walking category, with Cowley County Ghost Busters taking second place.

The parade is an annual holiday tradition in Winfield, bringing together local organizations, businesses and community groups to celebrate the Christmas season. The Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce organized the event in partnership with the Winfield Fire/EMS Department and other local organizations.
