Wildcats Fall to Berean with 64-40 loss
Moundridge drops to 13-3; hosts Marion for Homecoming Friday
The Moundridge Wildcats struggled offensively in a 64-40 loss to Berean, falling to 13-3 on the season heading into Friday's Homecoming matchup against Marion.
Shahan led Moundridge with 16 points, while Schmidt added six and Kanitz chipped in five. Churchill contributed eight points and Burge added three, but the Wildcats couldn't overcome a slow start, trailing 23-15 after the first quarter and 33-23 at halftime. Berean pulled away in the second half, outscoring Moundridge over the final two periods.
The Wildcats will look to get back on track when they host Marion for Homecoming on Friday night.
