Wildcats Dominate Early Season Tournament
Moundridge Claims Championship with Commanding Victory Over Inman
MOUNDRIDGE – The Moundridge Wildcats continued their perfect start to the season, capturing the Early Season Tournament championship with a decisive 62-18 victory over Inman.
Head coach Dustin Kanitz's squad improved to 5-0 on the year with a balanced offensive attack and stifling defense that held the Teutons to single digits in three of four quarters.
Lutz led the Wildcats with 12 points, while Kanitz and Shahan each contributed 10 respectively. The Wildcats showcased their depth with 11 players seeing action in the championship game.
The Wildcats' defensive pressure forced numerous turnovers and held Inman scoreless in the opening quarter.
The undefeated Wildcats will look to extend their winning streak when they host Little River in their next contest.
