WELLINGTON VOTERS NARROWLY REJECT USD 353 SCHOOL BOND
$17.85 million measure falls short by 26 votes
WELLINGTON, Kan. — USD 353 voters narrowly rejected a $17.85 million school bond Tuesday with 50.7% voting against the measure (920 to 894). The bond would have funded renovations and improvements at the high school, middle school, elementary schools and Sumner Co. Academy. Results are unofficial until canvassing is complete.
