Wellington Fire/EMS Member Promoted to Rank of Major

WELLINGTON, Kan. — Wellington Fire/EMS announced Wednesday the promotion of John Faust to the rank of major, recognizing his years of dedication and service to the department.

According to a June 18 post on Wellington Fire/EMS's official Facebook page, the department described Faust's dedication, leadership and commitment to excellence as an inspiration to those who serve alongside him.

"This promotion is a testament to his years of hard work and unwavering service," the department said in the post. "We look forward to seeing the continued impact of his leadership."
