Unlock Your Chest: The Essential Stretch for Desk Warriors

If you spend your days hunched over a keyboard, gripping a steering wheel, or crushing upper body workouts, your chest muscles are likely crying out for relief. Here's a game-changing stretch you can do anywhere there's a doorframe: Position yourself with your arm at a perfect 90-degree angle—shoulder level with your elbow, elbow aligned with your wrist—and press both your hand and elbow firmly against the door jam. Now lean forward, letting your shoulder move past your elbow, and you'll feel an incredible release through your chest where those tight muscles attach. The key is getting far enough away from the doorframe to create proper angles (if you don't feel anything, you're probably too close), and holding that sweet spot for 20-30 seconds on each side. This simple move will leave you feeling refreshed, open, and ready to tackle whatever comes next—whether that's another Zoom marathon or your evening workout.
