United Way Kicks Off Annual Campaign with Party in the Park
Second annual event features live music, food trucks, and family activities at Lakeside Park Bandshell. August 23rd from 4pm-8pm
McPherson, KS- United Way of McPherson County will launch its 2025 fundraising campaign with its second annual Party in the Park celebration at the Lakeside Park Bandshell. The evening event promises fun, food, and fellowship for the entire community, featuring a beer garden provided by Whiskey Wagon, live music entertainment, and a variety of food trucks. Families can enjoy children's games and activities hosted by UWMC partner agencies, while adults can participate in a 50/50 raffle to support the organization's mission. The kick-off party serves as both a community gathering and the official start to United Way's annual campaign, which raises funds for local health and human service programs throughout McPherson County. Organizers encourage residents to bring friends and family to enjoy what promises to be an evening of community spirit and celebration.
