Traffic signal repairs to cause delays at 22nd and Vine
Crews will rewire equipment damaged by a spring lightning strike
HAYS, Kan. — Drivers traveling through the intersection of 22nd and Vine streets should expect delays starting Wednesday, June 24, as contractors repair traffic signals damaged by what the city's Public Works Department says was a spring lightning strike. The intersection will intermittently operate as a four-way stop or rely on temporary stop signs while crews rewire the equipment. The Public Works Department advises motorists to use extra caution or avoid the area entirely until the project concludes Thursday, June 25. Questions can be directed to the Public Works Department at 785-628-7350.
