Thursday Night Cruisers plan nursing home visit in Lindsborg

SALINA, Kan. – The Thursday Night Cruisers of Salina will visit residents at Bethany Home in Lindsborg on Thursday, July 10, as part of their ongoing community outreach efforts.
The Cruisers are a self-proclaimed "group of car guys and gals that get together on Thursday evening from April through October."
The classic car group will meet at 6:45 p.m. at Wendy's, 3019 Riffel Drive in Salina before departing at 7 p.m. Due to road construction at the Kansas Highway 4 intersection, participants will take Interstate 135 south at 6o to reach Lindsborg.
The cruisers plan to park at Bethany Home, located at 321 North Chestnut Street in Lindsborg, for approximately 30 minutes to visit with residents before continuing to Dairy Queen on at 321 N. Ninth St. in Salina via Burma Road and old Highway 40.
The event combines the group's regular Thursday evening cruise with community service, offering residents a chance to view classic vehicles and interact with car enthusiasts.
The Thursday Night Cruisers regularly organize drives throughout the Salina area, focusing on building friendships among classic car owners while engaging with the local community.
