Local chamber celebrates grand opening of new fast-casual chicken restaurant
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber celebrated the grand opening and ribbon-cutting of The Coop Chicken Fingers at 420 E. 30th Ave., marking the brand's first location in Kansas. The restaurant's owners renovated the former Taco John's building to serve signature hand-breaded chicken finger combo meals, which are paired with a selection of eight house-made sauces. The business partners, who launched their inaugural restaurant near Iowa State University, plan to use the Hutchinson debut as a launching pad for further expansion into the Wichita market.
