NEWTON, Kan. — The Newton Board of Education unanimously approved the appointments of Joni Jantz as clerk of the board and Jane Nichols as deputy clerk for the 2026-2027 academic year. The organizational motion passed 6-0 during the board's mid-summer July meeting.
