MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. — The Moundridge USD 423 Board of Education unanimously approved the resignation of Superintendent Cody Rierson during a special meeting April 28. Rierson's resignation will take effect June 30 as he departs to become the new superintendent for neighboring McPherson Public Schools (USD 418). The board accepted the resignation in a 7-0 roll call vote following a 50-minute executive session convened to discuss non-elected personnel matters.

MOUNDRIDGE, Kan. — Moundridge USD 423 established its nonresident enrollment caps for the 2026-2027 school year during the board's April 13 meeting. The board approved capacity recommendations to accept 30 nonresident students in kindergarten through sixth grade and 35 nonresident students in seventh through 12th grades.
