The Moundridge USD 423 Board of Education elected Michael Beasley to serve as president for the 2026-27 school year during Monday's meeting, passing the measure with a 6-0 vote as board member Brad Jantz was not yet in attendance.
Galle selected as vice president
Following the election of the president, the board voted to appoint Craig Galle as the Board of Education vice president for the 2026-27 term, a decision that also passed 6-0 prior to Jantz's arrival.
Board approves paraprofessional hiring in split vote
The board approved the hiring of a part-time Title I paraprofessional to work 10 hours per week for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year, though the motion passed via a split 6-1 roll call vote.
New interventionist position approved for next school year
Looking ahead to the 2026-27 school year, the board voted 7-0 to approve a new interventionist position, a vote that included all seven board members following the remote arrival of Brad Jantz.
