Swindoll, Janzen, Hawk & Loyd, L.L.C. Announces Merger
Combined firm will create regional powerhouse with over 160 employees across seven office locations.
MCPHERSON, Kan. — Two established accounting firms with deep Kansas roots are joining forces, as BT&Co., P.A. and McPherson-based Swindoll, Janzen, Hawk & Loyd, L.L.C. announced plans to merge effective January 1, 2026. The combined firm will operate under the SJHL name and employ more than 160 people across seven office locations, including the existing McPherson headquarters.
The merger brings together significant regional experience, with SJHL's 88-year history dating to 1936 and BT&Co.'s 112-year legacy since 1913. The expanded firm will maintain offices in McPherson, Wichita, Manhattan, Salina, Hutchinson, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and Topeka, offering audit, tax, accounting and consulting services to clients across the Midwest.
