Sumner County Fair Launches Fundraising Campaign, Announces Drag Racing Event

CALDWELL, Kan. — The Sumner County Fair has launched a fundraising campaign to support facility upgrades and announced a drag racing event scheduled for October.

Fair organizers are seeking community support to continue upgrading facilities, particularly those used for youth animal showing opportunities. The fundraising effort aims to enhance the fairgrounds to better serve young participants in agricultural programs.

"Help us continue to upgrade the facilities for the youth to grow their animal showing opportunities," organizers stated in their fundraising announcement.

The fair has scheduled a drag race event for Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, on Main Street in Caldwell. The event will feature competitive racing with a trophy presentation for winners.
