Summer County Health Department to Host Community Baby Shower

WELLINGTON — The Summer County Health Department will host a community baby shower Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Memorial Auditorium, 208 N. Washington Ave., Wellington.

The free event welcomes pregnant mothers, fathers, grandparents, families with children ages 5 and under, and caregivers.

The baby shower will feature multiple vendor booths offering community resources and education. Attendees can participate in drawings for gifts and visit a photo station. Safe sleep training will also be provided during the event.

The community baby shower aims to connect families with local resources and support services available in Summer County. The event is part of the health department's ongoing efforts to promote infant and maternal health in the community.

The Memorial Auditorium is located in Wellington. No registration is required for the free event.
