The dedication, proposed by Golf Course Superintendent Scott Cheeney, will feature a small plaque mounted on a county-provided boulder. Officials plan to coordinate with the high school to design the plaque and will hold a brief presentation ceremony late this summer or early next spring to recognize Vargo's contributions to the community's youth since 1990.
