Six Bullpups post perfect 2-0 records in home meet against El Dorado, Arkansas City

The McPherson Middle School wrestling team fell in both dual matches Tuesday night, dropping a 45-52 decision to El Dorado and a 46-54 contest to Arkansas City. Despite the team losses, several individual Bullpup wrestlers turned in strong performances, with six grapplers posting perfect 2-0 records on the evening.

Leading the way for McPherson were varsity wrestlers Trace Dearing, Gavin Williams, Easton Gehring, Towns DeLaney, and Jordan Reno, all of whom won both of their matches. On the junior varsity side, Caysen Huber and Xavier Hartinger each went 2-0, while Bentley Pfeiff earned his lone victory of the night. The Bullpups also received 1-1 performances from Kaiden Brown, Eli Brown, Eddie Koehn, Eli Barnett, Mark Montgomery, Dalton VanEaton, Brendyn Nestor, Diego Ibarra, Fabian Banuelos-Moreno, and Jaymes Cordell.
