Salt City Racing Returns to Kansas State Fairgrounds Thursday

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Salt City Racing will host the Rebel Late Model Series and IMCA Points Race at the Kansas State Fairgrounds on Thursday, featuring high-speed dirt track action for racing enthusiasts.

The event is scheduled for Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. at the fairgrounds located at 2000 N. Poplar in Hutchinson. Pit gates open at 3 p.m., with general admission gates opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps begin at 6:15 p.m., followed by racing at 7 p.m.

The competition will feature late model stock cars and modified vehicles competing on the fairgrounds' dirt oval track. Salt City Racing organizes regular events throughout the racing season at the venue.
