Hardy elected chair of Salina Board of Zoning Appeals

SALINA, Kan. - Randall Hardy is the new chair of the Salina Board of Zoning Appeals following a unanimous vote at the board's annual meeting on Sept. 17. Former chair Justin Owens declined a nomination for a second one-year term. Another board member also declined consideration for the top post before Hardy was nominated and unanimously elected. Hardy will serve a one-year term until September 2027.

Former chair pivots to vice chair role on zoning board

SALINA, Kan. - After voluntarily stepping down as chair, Justin Owens was unanimously elected vice chair of the Salina Board of Zoning Appeals. Owens was nominated by newly elected chair Randall Hardy. Owens assumes the seat vacated by former vice chair Mike Trow, who resigned from the board in August. The vice chair serves a one-year term running until the board's next annual election in September 2027.
