SALINA, Kan. — Following severe storms that caused widespread tree damage and power outages, the Salina Public Works Department will launch a free, citywide limb pickup starting June 15. Residents must stack branches no longer than 10 feet at their curbs, keeping piles strictly free of trash, fencing and construction debris to ensure safe and efficient processing. For those wanting to clear their yards sooner, the city has also waived disposal fees for residential loads of tree vegetation taken directly to the Salina Municipal Landfill.
